14 When they came to the other disciples, they saw a large crowd around them and the teachers of the law arguing with them. 15 As soon as all the people saw Jesus, they were overwhelmed with wonder and ran to greet him.
16 “What are you arguing with them about?” he asked.
17 A man in the crowd answered, “Teacher, I brought you my son, who is possessed by a spirit that has robbed him of speech. 18 Whenever it seizes him, it throws him to the ground. He foams at the mouth, gnashes his teeth and becomes rigid. I asked your disciples to drive out the spirit, but they could not.”
19 “O unbelieving generation,” Jesus replied, “how long shall I stay with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring the boy to me.”
20 So they brought him. When the spirit saw Jesus, it immediately threw the boy into a convulsion. He fell to the ground and rolled around, foaming at the mouth.
21 Jesus asked the boy’s father, “How long has he been like this?”
“From childhood,” he answered. 22 “It has often thrown him into fire or water to kill him. But if you can do anything, take pity on us and help us.”
23 “‘If you can’?” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for him who believes.”
24 Immediately the boy’s father exclaimed, “I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!”
25 When Jesus saw that a crowd was running to the scene, he rebuked the evil[a] spirit. “You deaf and mute spirit,” he said, “I command you, come out of him and never enter him again.”
26 The spirit shrieked, convulsed him violently and came out. The boy looked so much like a corpse that many said, “He’s dead.” 27 But Jesus took him by the hand and lifted him to his feet, and he stood up.

This Bible passage is lovely. As the Father brings his son to the disciples, the disciples couldn't cast out the demon from the boy. The were perplexed and confused. When Jesus saw what was going on, what was his response? "O unbelieving generation..." Fast forward 2000+ years, and don't you think Christ would say the same? "O unbelieving generation..."
Even the Father didn't believe. As he was talking with Christ he asks him IF Jesus can do something, then do it now. Christ responds, "If?!?!". Don't we say the same thing as this Father. In our prayers we cry out to God "if" he could do something, then to do it. IF?!?!
Brothers and sisters, do you believe in a God of "if" or in a God of "do"? Many times the "if" statement is due to our lack of faith in God. In the passage we read the Father immediate repentance, v. 24 "I do believe, help me overcome my unbelief!". This father limited what Christ can do, but cries in prayer to help him overcome his unbelief. This should be the same prayer for us today, to help us overcome our own unbelief.
Do you believe God is able to do great things in your life? Do you believe God is able to save you from the darkness you're in? Do you believe God is able to do greater things, even if there seems to be no hope? Do you believe God is able to change your life?
When we look at the cross, we see and realize God is able to do greater things than we can ever imagine. God is so great not even death was able to take hold of him. The same power that resurrected Christ from the dead is here with you today. God is able to bring healing, God is able to bring joy, God is able to bring peace, God is able to bring comfort, God is able to __________________. Do you believe? If not, ask him to help you overcome your unbelief.

2. When we desperately needed him and he performed a miricle in our lives, like when God had given my mom cancer and she survived that's a miracle.
3. The reason that we can't see him tends to throw us off and we begin to doubt.
4. To notice my sins and tell and help repent them to him :P
1. God is able to do what in your life?

4. What do you want God able you to do?
Well me and my friend were talking about how our careers can't evolve around money but as to be reasoned to show the miracles and show the wpord of God. Like a police officer. When they cathc a suspect doing crimes becayse of how people has treated them in the past and they think no one likes them the police officer may tell them that there is a person who loves you more than any one could. His name is Jesus. He died for you and He care for you. stuff like that (:
1. God is able to do what in your life?
He is able to work with me: me and my faith. Even though I highly do not deserve His grace He still doesn't give up on me even if I do.
2. How can you or have have you experienced God's Almighty power?
I think I experience it through the simplest things that touch me.
3. What causes us to doubt God?
When I become lazy with my prayers. I tend to drift away from God and rely on Him less so then I start doubting God and my faith.
4. What do you want God able you to do?
Sometimes I really want a message from God that my faith in Him is certain. Honestly I doubt in my faith because I do so little things for Him while I ask God for so much. Also I want to take my faith seriously again. I think that I used to have a good, firm grasp but then I've drifted from Him since then. So basically not only am I asking God but I have to play my part to regain it back.
