Ezekiel 36:26-27
26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. 27 And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.
All of us started with a heart of stone. But the love of God came to us through Christ softening our hearts filling it with joy and peace in Him. As our hearts changed, life changes too. We become more focused on living for him and being an obedient child. Overtime, the once passionate heart becomes cold once again forgetting the love God has for us. Instead of sharing this heart with others, some have their hearts turning cold.
It's time to rekindle that fire once again. It's the grievous sins that makes your heart cold. Seek the Lord, and find peace in him. Repent your ways and be cleansed. For you cannot save yourself, only through Christ you are saved.
Time for a heart check... are you on fire or are you stone cold?

1. How do you think God would react to a cold heart?
I'm guessing that God would react to a cold heart by possibly punishing us. It's like the same as us sinning. If we repent and ask to clean our sins, God would clean our hearts but I guess God would be waiting for us to repent our sins first.
2. Describe a heart of flesh. How do you relate?
A heart of flesh is a heart that is in pieces of doing good deeds and then sinning. Truthfully, I'm not clearly sure about what a heart of flesh is but it relates to me by always switching on and off of doing good things but then turning to be a bad person again by doing stuff that God doesn't want me to do.
3. Is it hard or easy to follow the Lord? Why?
No. It really isn't easy to follow the Lord. Why? Well... There's a lot of reason for me why I can't follow Christ. I always feel like I have no time to put God into my heart because of school work and after school activities but it's just an excuse for many people... Like me. Also, I sometimes cant follow Jesus Christ because I have a lot of regrets about Christianity but I know that the Devil's just trying to tempt me to not worship God.
4. What does a new creation mean once we accept Christ as Lord and Savior?
A new creation means that once we accept Christ as Lord & Savior, we turn to be another person that changed. So I think it means that a Christian has accepted Christ as their Lord and Savior and so once that happens, a Christian has a clean heart.
1) I think God will still accept us and see us as his sons and daughters
2) Heart of flesh.. does it mean like.. the things that wipes off from my heart? If it is, then, I think I can relate because God wiped our sins.
3) I think it is hard because the christians have the steryotype that we have to be perfect and get judged from other people by our actions
4) New creation means that my old sins are washed away and new life with Christ came
